i got all my games working with the loader. launchbox has a couple games (chaos & beyond, time zone) that aren’t working. i tried the taito x arcade pcloader application and it works fine for those games. i just want to get the games to work with launchbox, as launchbox would be the easiest to use on my sony tv for those games.

i downloaded and installed the pcloader. the cd-rom worked fine. the launcher “taito type x2 arcade loader 15 60” starts but immediately gives me an error message. the launcher will not even open. any suggestions?

Basically. The only difference between this and the regular model is the hardware, and even that is a *variant* of the regular model. The actual version that was released to the public, and therefore what most people have is the 4060 CPU. That is entirely compatible with the original 40XX CPU, which in turn can use the arcade models stored on the memory card.

* Zoom in on the game with the option to use tool bar (Taito X2 XL with noone loading game). The text and icons may be a tad larger, but you can make that nicer by zooming in on your game with the option to use tool bar.
I opened up HyperSpin, clicked on the settings tab, and set up 3 inputs per stick. I set it up the same as in my Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 and made sure the controller was connected to the computer and then turned on my Taito Type X2 for that game. I went back to HyperSpin and clicked Start, at which point, I was prompted to click the Taito Loader 15 for that game. I did so, and I got the screen up for that game. I put in 3 clicks in the left stick (for Clock/Wildwest) and the right stick (for Bells of Fury), and I was able to play the game.
I was able to get the games running in Hyperspin with the real Arcade Pro 3, it’s just that its Hori hardware isn’t supported by that software. That’s okay, they work fine with HYPERSPIN, and its most likely because I’ve set it up to enable Hori controllers… which was what I was using beforehand. I can probably set them back up to those same settings for free, but its not like I am going to waste the space if HYPERSPIN supports my controllers.
